Hospice palliative care professionals' opinions, emotions, skills and ethical reflections during the first phase of the COVID-19 pandemic

They commonly experienced the pandemic as a challenging situation that highlighted the need for an upgrade to the Servizio Sanitario Nazionale (SSN).
