Spatially fractionated radiotherapy : introduction into clinical practice

Different techniques are described: mini-beam and micro-beam radiotherapy (pre-clinical) and LATTICE radiotherapy (L-RT) (clinical). Although L-RT is emergent in clinical practice and its evidence is still limited, it has still revealed excellent outcomes. At least three clinical situations can be discussed: definitive palliative radiotherapy, dose escalation (boost) or salvage radiotherapy.
